Summer Reading Program
Our theme this summer is "Read to the Rhythm, and will run from Monday June 8 through Saturday July 18. Here is our line up of fun programs:
Thursday June 11 at 1:30pm
Coventry and Kaluza are back to kick off the summer! Get ready for first class circus entertainment. For all ages.
Friday June 19 at 1:30pm
Come and groove to the music of the Banana Slug String Band. For all ages.
Tuesday June 23 at 1:30pm
Didgeridoo Down Under is a high energy Australia themed show, that combines music, puppetry, and comedy. For ages 3 and up.
Wednesday July 1, from 1:30-3:30
Drawing with Dante - Draw your favorite instrument, or draw someone playing an instrument. All materials supplied. For ages 9 - 14. Please pre-register by calling 624-4664.
Friday July 10 at 1:30pm
The Alphabet Rockers - get ready for an intergenerational dance party! Building a community of learning and connection through beats, rhymes, and movement. Fun for the whole family.
Friday July 17 at 1:30pm
Bingo Schmingo Music - with Kathleen Rushing. A fun, lively, interactive music experience aimed at ages 2 and up.

Teen Audiobooks on-the-go
June 13, any time between 1-3 pm
Teen Lounge, Harrison Memorial Library, Ocean & Lincoln, Carmel
Learn how to download free audiobooks from the library. Bring your phone (or MP3 player) and your Harrison Memorial Library card or student ID. Free coffee vouchers and ear buds for the first 10 teens!

Baby and Toddler Storytime
Every Wed, 10 am
Park Branch Library, Mission & Sixth
Hear stories, sing songs, learn fingerplays and rhymes, and have fun. Afterward, we gather at the craft tables to color and socialize with Miss Grace. Weekly, September through May. Please note that Wednesday May 27 will be the last storytime until we start up again on Wednesday September 9.

HelpNow - Online Homework Help
Do you need help with your homework? How about a writing lab to help you write better term papers and reports? Or maybe you need a little extra help with your Spanish homework or with understanding a math concept.
All you need is your library card to use the online tutoring service HelpNow. To get started, click on HelpNow and receive one-on-one help from an expert tutor (available from 1 to 10 pm).
Volunteers are needed to assist staff with fun and easy projects. We want to help you complete those community service hours required for graduation. Please call Grace at 624-4664 if you are interested. Volunteer - it will look great on your college application.
